Bid Specialist/Sales Support

 

Position responsibilities include:

 Work with Bids & Contracts Manager to prepare bids, contracts, RFP’s and RFI’s.Provide front-line, comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the VP of Sales, Sales department, and VP of Sales and Marketing.Effectively communicate between the corporate locations in Oregon, New Jersey, England and Australia.Administrative duties include the coordination of special events, meetings and travel. Also assist in the daily tasks making sure the sales department runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Position Requirements:

 Bachelors Degree preferredProven experience as a seasoned Administrative Assistant, equivalent to 5 yearsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience in Bids and ContractsExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, etc…)Self-Motivated and multi-task focusedPositive attitude and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment as well as independently.

 

Successful applicants will posses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines, and have an attention to detail in addition to good analytical skills. A professional demeanor will be required to maintain Blackwell’s image and reputation in the marketplace. A strong sense of humor is also highly desirable.
