If so, we may be looking for you to take on the role of Business Development Manager.

But we need you only if you also have a firm grasp of business strategy -- especially of sales and marketing strategy.  That's because Hacker Group is a fully integrated provider of direct marketing services and solutions to brand-name clients around the country. We help our clients sell. 


As a BDM, you'd be a key player in the organization.  It's a high pressure, spectacularly exciting job. Your success is paramount to the health and continued growth of our agency. Here’s a sample of what you’d be responsible to do:

 Develop strategies to attack new businessQualify new sales prospects Run in-person or remote discovery calls with prospective clientsEstablish a rapport with the prospect; understand their decision-making processes, overcome objections Write compelling proposals that summarize the key findings and propose recommendations and an action plan Move the selling process forward to an effective closeClose deals and transition new business into cross-selling or up-selling opportunities Develop a transition plan to successfully hand off the new business to the Account Management group

To qualify for this exceptional opportunity, you’ll need: Seven (7) or more years experience in selling marketing services, ideally direct marketingProven sales track recordAgency experience desiredExcellent written, oral communication skillsGreat listening skillsSituational fluency in high-pressure situationsSelf-sufficient, tenacious and entrepreneurial spiritMid-to-high level expertise with MS Office Suite 2003 and/or 2007
