Business Development Manager - Sales

Dealer Product Services, with headquarters in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is a highly successful & rapidly expanding, consultative sales company that specializes in providing customized marketing programs to automotive dealerships nationwide. Additionally, DPS works directly with OEM’s to provide integrated retention marketing strategies and solutions to improve dealership revenues and owner retention.

With several exclusive and OEM endorsed relationships, we’re seeking candidates with a proven track record of success.  DPS is recruiting top caliber sales professionals for positions within lucrative markets.  Must be goal-oriented, persistent and motivated to high achievement.  The position focuses on widening the corporate footprint by managing an existing customer base, closing existing leads and generating new leads and turning them into long-term clients.  

DPS is built on Energy, Excellence and Execution. The ideal candidate should be high energy and motivated to inspire prospects and clients alike. They should have sound knowledge of sales process and be capable of executing sales strategy with excellence in order to close more business. 

Income potential:  $100K+, health benefits and 401K Program with company match.  Minimal overnight travel, expense allowance and comprehensive training and coaching provided.

Requirements: Three years minimum in sales.  Automotive industry, marketing or advertising sales experience preferred but not required. Self-motivation and self-discipline, high energy level, consultative sales approach with an attitude of persistence and the ability to close the deal.  College degree preferred.Skills/Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:  closing; planning; prospecting; verbal and written skills; time management; multi-tasking; consultative sales approach; territory management; cold calling; market knowledge; presentation skills; achieving sales quotas; professionalism.
