Business Intelligence Developer - SQL - Boston
One of the world’s largest interactive marketing and advertising firm’s, is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Developer in their Downtown Boston location. This company has a very large scale Business Intelligence platform’s, that is effectively storing and tracking online/offline advertising campaign data as well as customer data, publisher data, site analytics data and 3rd party research data. This Business Intelligence Platform enables advanced ROI tracking and is ultimately a decision support system that enables their users to deliver better campaign optimisation, thus maximising the ROI for their clients.
The Business Intelligence Developer will be working on report projects for customers around the globe – S.A, N.A., U.K. and Europe. He/she will work on defining report requirements, preparing documentation, developing within the Business Objects suite, executing QA, and follow-up with the customer.
The Business Intelligence Developer will develop reports in Business Objects Xi R2/R3 Webi and Client environments. He/she will also design changes to universes and work with the development team to implement those changes.
The Business Intelligence Developer will also work on databases, exploring data with SQL, exploring data relationships, executing data processes.
Required experience and skills:Expert in Report Development in Business Objects webi and client.Experienced with SQLKnowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL ServerTeam attitude and pro-active communicator – able to ask questions and communicate with others through email / instant messaging / conversation.Excellent organizational skillsCommitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detailKnowledge of Internet Advertising a plus
