The incumbent should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline, an advanced degree would be a plus.  Experience with both education and businesses are important, as projects span both areas; however, one or the other field is mandatory.  Good organizational skills are a must and the incumbent should have the ability to manage multiple projects on time and under deadlines.  In addition, there are the following specific requirements:

· Under the supervision and direction of the Director, Corporate Education, assist in the management and growth of CalUniversity’s Corporate Education department

· A proven track record of successful sales with a minimum of four years of direct sales experience in education or business-to-business; sales management experience preferred

· Participate in the implementation of student enrollment strategies and the management of resources in order to meet performance expectations

· Excellent negotiation skills with a strong work ethic; has high energy who is a committed team player with excellent relationship building capabilities

· Provide leadership and support in order to meet the enrollment goals of the team

· Must have a strong personal presence with excellent communication skills, both oral and written

· Must have high integrity and solid business acumen

· Interact with and report on projects to senior management

· Must be proficient in personal computers 

 Key Responsibility AreasSecures prospective student leads and contracts by effectively promoting CalUniversity Corporate Education products to employees of businesses, associations, and other groupsConducts research on businesses and companies to assess their educational needs and determines a potential fit with CalUniversity’s Corporate Education offerings Coordinates lead generation efforts with the admissions department to help students commence education at CalUniversity
