Business Systems Analyst

Wilde is based in Holliston, MA. We have a current opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team.

Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst serves as the conduit between the development team and the rest of the organization. The BSA works with the Account Managers to understand business requirements in order to prepare the Business Specifications Document. The BSA manages small to medium scale projects, including expectations, scope, timeframes, and costs. The BSA also analyzes and documents current system and operational processes. The BSA may accompany and support the sales staff with new solution opportunities. Experience writing business requirements is a must for this position.

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Perform all the activities involved in identifying, conceptualizing, and documenting technical solutions to our client’s business needs for those efforts requiring development and code changes for System Solutions.

2.  Translate technical portions of the SOW into the technical requirements with proper detailed specifications.

3.  Adhere to Wilde’s Change Management methodology to ensure management of scope as it pertains to documenting and client communication, client expectations and satisfaction, project time frames and deliverables.

4.  Facilitate the sales cycle by working closely with the Sales Department and Client Services to prepare Statements of Work (SOW).

5.  Work hand-in-hand with technical resources to provide insight during solution development.

6.  Monitor day to day technical project status/cost/budgets and scope enhancements with Client Services to insure revenue objectives.

7.  Analyze and document technical processes.

8.  Adhere to Wilde’s Systems Testing Methodology to conduct System Acceptance Testing and internal approval process for project implementation and roll out.

9.  Participate on teams to consistently review and improve processes.



EDUCATION, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1.  Previous experience analyzing client business problems and gathering requirements for system solutions.

2.  Previous experience writing business requirements.

3.  Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills are required.

4.  2-5 years in a client facing project management or business analyst role.

5.  Experience to lend both functional and technical expertise to the client.

6.  Pro active self-starter with outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

7.  Previous experience managing small to medium size projects a plus.

8.  Experience in utilizing the following software a plus: SQL, MS Project, VISIO and supply chain and inventory management software.

9.  Knowledge of e-Business and Web-based technologies a plus
