Job Description:

CMPMedica’s Project Group has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in our Darien, CT office.  This person will work with publishers, editors, production and other departments to conceive, budget, propose and implement physician and patient communication projects in print, online and in live formats.

 

Responsibilities:

· Work with editors and publishers to develop new product templates and to match identified communication needs with current capabilities.

· Develop budgets, timelines, proposals and contracts to support the project sales process.

· Interface with clients, faculty, and internal/external collaborators to develop and implement new projects.

· Work effectively across print, online and live delivery platforms.

· Manage projects from start to finish, including research, fact-checking, scheduling, and collaborating with production, marketing, research and design.

· Work closely with the project team, including the director and managing editor, to establish workflow and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

· Degree in marketing, business or related.

· 3-5 years project management experience, preferably in medical education.

· Editorial background preferred.

· Knowledge of the accredited medical education business and related regulations a huge plus.

· Ability to collaborate, influence, and partner with other internal and external groups/teams.

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

· Excellent project management, communication, and collaborative skills.

· Experience with market research and competitive analysis.

· Solid Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project skills.
