COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER/WRITER

An expanding international law firm that specializes in finance, investment management, M&A/private equity, and litigation is seeking a Communications Manager/Writer to be based in either our location in New York City, NY or Philadelphia, PA.  This person plans and executes marketing communications programs to build the business and the reputation of the firm.  Strong writing skills and experience with complex subject matter are essential. 

 

Key responsibilities are to:

 

¨  identify key constituencies; develop messages; ensure consistency, quality and frequency of outreach using a variety of tools;

¨  track outreach to ensure priorities are pursued and goals accomplished;

¨  assist in the development of practice group promotional plans;

¨  leverage and repurpose attorney work product;

¨  write and edit copy;

¨  manage design and production of marketing publications and branding materials;

 

Must be able to serve as an internal consultant, work effectively with team members, and write/edit deftly. Ten-plus (10+) years of experience is necessary.
