We are currently recruiting CONTRACTORS with experience installing vinyl graphics in retail operations.  This work requires prior experience with signage and graphics, light carpentry, and a strong ability to work with little supervision to satisfy customer needs according to deadlines established.  Position also requires efficient reporting of job hours.

Responsibility

 

Function as a Contractor representing Nimlok-Kentucky.  Provide professional installation of various materials to include all forms of signage (laminate, vinyl, wood, plastic, etc.) at customer sites throughout the Louisville and surrounding areas.

 

Requirements

 

2-5 years experience in the installation of a variety of signage and materials used in retail environments

Solid light carpentry skills – good with sight-measurements and using measurement tools, small tool operation

Ability to work 10-12 hours daily, five days per week for an undetermined time – at least through June 2008.

Ability to continuously reduce set-up time and become proficient with Nimlok products

Ability to represent Nimlok-Kentucky professionally at all times

Proficient in time-management skills and ability to account for all work hours (travel time, worksite hours, return time)

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and climb ladders – requires lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, stretching

Ability to travel to worksites as required – some installation projects may require an overnight stay

Must be flexible and able to arrange schedule as operations dictate

Successful criminal background and drug screen results

Valid driver’s license to include a satisfactory driving record

 

Nimlok-Kentucky offers great starting pay and great partnering.  Contractors hired will receive 1099s for monies earned in 2008.
