CREATIVE SERVICES MANAGER

SPANX, Inc is an entrepreneurial, creative, privately held company with 65 employees based in Atlanta, GA.



This position is directly responsible for the sourcing of outside creative talent/agencies, developing new processes for a wide range of projects, providing art direction, writing creative briefs and managing vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The position will develop and enforce style guides as well as brand messaging across all channels of communication and supervise in house graphic designer and traffic coordinator.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

· Manage the creative department’s volume and workflow, process, and technology/training needs.

· Assess and manage process to recruit internal and external talent to accomplish objectives.

· Develop creative services calendar and forecast demand to ensure projects are completed by deadline.

· Participate in development of packaging designs.

· Create POS and design for trade shows or other SPANX sponsored events.

· Write and interpret creative briefs.

· Provide creative feedback and art direction for projects (ie emails, collateral and packaging).

· Oversee/manage the creative services budget.

· Work closely with direct reports to ensure work is properly allocated and deadlines are met.

· Maintain updated technology solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree

· MINIMUM of 5+ years advertising agency, creative services management for national consumer products preferably in fashion apparel.

· Experience managing complex projects, timelines and budgets.

· Supervisory experience and direct influencing of senior management. 

· Extensive working knowledge of graphics, print production, photography and web design.

· Experience developing creative briefs and providing actionable art direction.

 

This is a newly created position and reports to the Marketing Director.
