Job Category : Sales/Retail/Business Development Reference Code: : 0801552 CYBER REPS - RR (Tucker) We're the new AT&T, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world.GENERAL SUMMARY These telephone sales reps will target print and non-print yellow page accounts for the sale of Internet advertising. The primary focus for these reps will be on closed, print advertisers in the premise and telephone sales channels. They will also target select existing on-line advertisers and targeted non-billing accounts for the sale of on-line products. The primary focus will be during the print campaign (i.e., in-campaign) but these reps may sell out-of-campaign also. These reps may also sell internet products to the major account channel in-campaign or out-of-campaign. JOB DUTIES Duties may include but are not limited to the following:1. Initiates telephone calls for the purpose of selling internet advertising.2. Responsible for meeting aggressive sales quotas and objectives. Responsible for posting daily sales results.3. Develop selling strategies prior to contacting designated market using a variety of visual and other sales aids.4. Determining accounts' Internet needs through basic probing interviews to tailor the appropriate Internet product(s).5. Schedules, organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer and directory deadline scheduling demands promptly, accurately and efficiently.6. Prepares internet layouts and background information, as basis for recommending advertising programs and internet listing arrangements to meet the needs of each business.7. Prepares forms and letters, handles detailed paperwork and executes contracts for billing. Prepares necessary paper work for publishing and billing the advertisement.8. Works with reference material including sales practices and tariff regulations.9. Constant daily contacts with customers. Work requires a high degree of accuracy.10. Job is non-routine and requires flexibility to switch from handling customer calls to detailed paper work, etc.11. Work may confine employee to work position for extended period of time.
