You will have the chance to be responsible for the creation, design and definition of life insurance products, financial reporting, modeling and asset/liability management. Responsibilities: Design, review and help administer life insurance plans, determine financial soundness, calculate premiums, determine reserve requirements; collaborate with marketing and senior management to develop new life insurance products and services; coordinate, prepare and perform actuarial analyses to assist in the development of pricing strategies and financial forecasts; interpret, prepare and present key actuarial information to advise Senior Management; provide guidance and advice regarding technical actuarial issues such as pricing rates, modeling methodology, and reserving principles; influence, recommend and implement actuarial policy or processes and develop alternative solutions; explain complex technical matters to company executives, government officials, shareholders, policyholders, or the public; anticipate and identify problems and create new or modify existing systems for solving business problems; monitor industry and company regulations and guidelines and ensure compliance (e.g., Principles-based reserving, international accounting standards, fair value accounting).
