We are currently seeking a Chief Strategy Architect who will report to the President, Business Solutions.  The Chief Strategy Architect will be primarily responsible for developing and defining Dell’s global marketing strategies and how they fit into an integrated communication plan.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Lead the development of Dell’s key marketing and strategy plans.

· Work in collaboration with the Chief Value Architects and Creative leadership to provide seamless development and execution of an integrated strategy for clients.

· Work with Global Leadership to integrate all customer touch point strategies.

· Develop a world class team of Strategy professionals and serve as a mentor to senior staff.

· Demonstrate deep understanding of digital and offline marketing strategies and tactics and how they fit into an integrated communication plan

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

 

· An executive with 15 - 20 years professional experience in marketing, strategic planning and marketing research.  This experience must include a leadership role within an advertising or direct marketing/interactive agency or consulting firm.

· Experience with clients in the technology field and B2B market.

· Experience as a leading planning strategist on a multi-faceted, multi-national account is necessary.

· In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care)

· Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills.

· Proven success as a strategic advisor to clients and team management.

· Expert knowledge of various marketing disciplines, including branding strategy, account planning, marketing research and integrated marketing communications.

· Motivator/mentor/team player/thought leader

· Strong client facing skills; effective and persuasive presenter to senior level client executives.

· Strong project management skills with a consulting edge

· A self-starter who is capable of operating across lines of business with a commercial and cultural fluency of global markets
