Job Description Circulation Manager Job Description We have an opportunity for a successful individual to manage circulation throughout the greater San Gabriel Valley area with overall responsibility for the distribution of National, Regional, and Local Publication Titles. This challenging opportunity is for a person desiring to improve overall operational performance including sales, circulation and distribution, as well as expand market presence in a cost effective manner. Responsibilities Develop new marketsIncrease the various titles unit and revenue salesEstablish and maintain excellent customer service relationshipsRecruit, hire, train, and develop employee base of field service personnel and recruit and maintain sufficient support base of employee delivery drivers. Coordinate the efficient and economical dispatch of publications to stores and ensure timely delivery to customer stores within assigned geographical areaAssist with facilitating the development of creative marketing plans to drive unit sales and revenue increases Assist in devising, monitoring, and analyzing sales promotions and circulation blitzes to determine cost and impact effectiveness Perform accurate inventory of publications Predict customer needs based on experience, market research, and seasons Maintain and analyze competitor information database Qualifications Candidates should demonstrate success in:Proven sales and supervisory experience At least 2 years experience in single or multi copy distribution/salesHiring and retaining employee delivery drivers.
