Classified Advertising Sales Trainer

The Columbus Dispatch is seeking a Classified Inside Sales Trainer. This position is primarily responsible for job training consisting of both new hires and current inside sales representatives. Position reports to the Classified Sales Manager.

 

Designs, procures and maintains up-to-date training materials. Responsible for training on all classified systems, such as: CRM System, front end system, Accounts Receivables System, Outlook, etc. Develops and maintains ongoing sales training materials as new products are developed and implemented. Develops and performs sales training for all inside sales representatives, examples include: selling over the phone, cold calling, overcoming objections, etc.  Works collectively with the various classified sales managers to train on specific areas for development within their areas.   Works closely with outside Training Companies to set up regular inside training sessions. Regular and timely attendance.

 

Prefer College Graduate. Must have at least 2 years’ proven sales record and previous classified advertising experience. Previous sales training experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
