Client Relationship Manager

As a Client Relationship Manager (CRM), you are responsible for building, maintaining, and growing positive relationships with clients. You will work closely with client contacts on a daily basis including general account support, implementation and management of campaigns, monitoring campaign performance, and strategic selling. You will also partner with the Regional Sales Manager and Director of Client Services to determine business needs of existing and potential clients by providing consistent and stable client support. In addition, you will develop proposals to optimize program goals in alignment with account strategy. You will also be willing to take charge of the successful execution of those strategies despite obstacles. Further, you will proactively communicate account and sales information to both sales management and the sales team. You will also work closely with other functional groups within DRIVEpm including with our Management, Product Marketing, Operations, Media, and Analytics teams. You will proactively communicate with these constituents to ensure account issues are resolved and programs are executed successfully and to ensure these constituents are aware of account progress and performance. This role requires entrepreneurial skills including the desire and ability to go beyond the scope of the job description and evolving as our Company grows and changes. In addition, this role requires strong project management skills including exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, managing client expectations, meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, and managing across functional groups. CRMs demonstrate honesty and integrity. They are smart, innovative, customer driven and gracious. They have experience in online marketing and/or advertising account management. They have strong data analysis skills, and experience managing projects and cross-functional groups. Outstanding communication and presentation skills are also a must-have. Previous experience at an online company preferred. Protect and grow territory and related account revenue to exceed revenue goals Create regular forecast reports for sales management Coordinate weekly with the Regional Sales Manager regarding campaigns, including start and execution Partner in the development of account and territory strategies for long term revenue growth Champion a culture of excellent client service and outstanding results Act as the day to day relationship manager for DRIVEpm clients including securing strategic level relationships within the account list or territory region Identify emerging client needs and assist with the creation of products and services to meet these needs Review client proposals and provide client recommendations Educate clients on existing offerings, including those related to the behavioral targeting arena Constantly monitor, manage, and analyze program progress and performance including regularly reviewing sales reports, campaign reports, and forecasts Act as the tactical lead to ensure proper client management both internally and externally Provide regular account status updates through written call reports and verbal communication Provide timely updates to management team regarding client relationships and related revenue Special projects as assigned. He/She will demonstrate an ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally. Specifically, the ideal candidate will possess: Exceptional client service knowledge and experience in the offline and/or online marketing field Proven sales and account service achievements Outstanding written communication skills Outstanding verbal communication skills in both in-person and over the telephone situations Excellent analytical and negotiation skills Campaign planning, execution, and evaluation abilities Familiarity with the online marketing industry Project Management including the ability to coordinate tactically across the organization Excellent time management skills Excellent analytical skills including analysis of industry and data trends Strong familiarity with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with third party ad serving technology Ability to work under pressure in an evolving environment with multiple account challenges at once Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment BA or BS degree required, marketing or equivalent degree preferred 2+ years of Internet and/or traditional marketing experience required 2+ years of online advertising sales and account service experience preferred Familiarity with Atlas preferred Previous experience in a start up company preferred Strong entrepreneurial attitude required.
