Description:ResponsibilitiesGeneral Statement of Duties: Assists Client Sales Manager (CSM) with account plans supporting client initiatives, including technical and marketing projects. Coordinates and manages follow up and completion of client project details through research and information gathering. Participates in the research and resolution of client issues or tasks and ensures that CSM is informed and updated. Assists CSM and Account Team by participating in client marketing campaign program deployment and client communications. Provides input on program execution and management, cross-selling activities, creation of the account management business plan, and what the Critical Few Initiatives (CFIs) will be for a client. Participates in activities to increase knowledge of the client, industry, and marketplace. Facilitates the teams Account Management activities and ensures that the process is organized and communicated as needed. Maintains business intelligence documents and notes. Implements and maintains program/project tracking and final results information. Provides input for the creation of the account management plan and activities calendar based on processes around needs assessment and program ideation. Provides input in determining what the Critical Few Initiatives (CFIs) will be for a client, according to the account management process.Participates and provides input on new idea generation activities during the appropriate stage of the account management process to create new activities around each CFI. Participates in discussion regarding client intelligence, client needs assessment, determining key findings, and developing a set of critical few initiatives. Administers and organizes the client meetings, including scheduling meetings, inviting partners as needed, organizing business intelligence and client dossiers, distributing meeting agendas, and following up on meetings with minutes and next steps.Participate in Business Intelligence Review, including daily review of various resources to stay up to the minute on articles, trends, or discussions that may affect the clients business. Participate in store visits to check on program executions and to talk to floor associates regarding front-line issues or concerns.Resolves client issues only when they become escalated or when they meet the criteria for higher level action or intervention. Uses scorecard approach with prioritization matrix and shares with the client.Partners with Strategic Services teams on all aspects of account management and issue resolution. Reviews data and creates programs to hit goals. Reviews performance measurements and ensures targets are being met. Informed on internal and external reports and issues that arise from reporting that may affect the client. Reviews reports from CI&S and BA groups. Proposes adjustments and recommendations to client.Contributes to new program and idea generation when the account management team begins to develop a marketing activities plan. Designs and develops marketing programs that deliver value and work toward successfully meeting the agreed upon goals for each critical initiative. Ensures the programs are initiated as planned, according to the activity calendar, and that all requisite client input is correct and timely to allow those program to be successful.ResponsibilitiesQualifications:Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of Marketing principles, including credit, direct mail, email, and eCS. Knowledge of Operational support for client programs. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective analytical skills. Basic financial and quantitative skills, including profit calculations, and ROI. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Aptitude for detail, following a process, maintaining accuracy and consistency when completing job responsibilities. Skill in working with data. Ability to organize tasks and react to shifting priorities without compromising assigned tasks. Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels internally as well as with other departments and external clients and vendors. Ability to research data. Ability to work independently. Ability to identify and resolve issues and problems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Operations Management, or equivalent education or experienceExperience: Three to five years experience in Sales, Marketing, Operations or strong related credit experience.
