This is not a sales position. This is a position for client services with a background in Internet, Interactive-direct marketing experience.

 

Sendtec, a SEMPO Circle Member and one of the largest SEM agencies in the country, continues to grow and we are looking to hire a seasoned Account Director for our St. Petersburg, FL office and our New York office. In this highly visible role you will optimize revenue from existing accounts, assure client satisfaction and retention, mentor a team of account managers, and generate new business opportunities by offering innovative SEO and SEM solutions to our blue chip advertisers.

 

Core responsibilities include: 

 

Client LeadershipMaintain and grow strong mid-level to senior client relationships by understanding their key business/marketing objectives Demonstrate solid knowledge of client’s business, brand, and target audience Supervise and mentor Account Managers Help to maintain day-to-day communication with clients and internal media, creative, I/T, and measurement & analytics teams Participate in development and presentation of client deliverables

Strategic LeadershipWork with team members to develop break-through strategies based on in-depth customer insight and driven by strong in-market resultsAnalyze and translates campaign results into actionable recommendations

Team LeadershipConduct team briefings outlining project requirements (e.g., business objectives/strategy, budget, schedule, mandatories Oversee the online execution of direct response campaigns including tracking and tagging landing pages and order paths Work with other team members/departments (e.g. Media, Creative, I/T, M&A) to ensure flawless execution and delivery of campaigns

 RequirementsFive plus years of account service experience in a direct, media or interactive agency with extensive knowledge and experience in Search Engine MarketingA proven background of successfully leading and managing, multi-channel marketing clientsStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and report campaign resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as client presentation experienceExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailSelf starter, enterpenurial spiritSubscription and/or continuity marketing segment experience a BIG plusDRTV experience a plusMBA a plus
