We are currently seeking a Comp Artist, who will be responsible for the day to day activities associated with the development of presentations and assembly of props and comps in the Studio.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·  Build displays and prototypes based on client (Creative, Account Management, etc.) requirements.

·  Help Art Directors to design complex dimensional pieces and challenging display formats.

·  Interface with the adjacent divisions of the Studio to preserve and sustain intra-department communication and cooperation.

·  Assist supervisor for all incoming assembly work; mainly with Project Coordinators.

·  In absence of the Supervisor, oversee all of the group’s activities, and act as a point person.

·  Overtime and weekend work might be required due to client deadlines.

·  Responsible for other duties and projects as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

·  Expert in the manual assembly of displays and prototypes.

·  Expert in making comps for Direct Mail production.

·  Ability to work and multi task under high pressure, with tight deadlines.

·  Service oriented and team player.

·  Innovative.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·  BA/BS degree preferred.

·  Four to five years advertising production experience required.

·  Old school mechanical experience and carpentry knowledge a plus.
