Job Objective:
The Security Analyst, working closely with the Senior Security Analyst, Security Technologist, and others in Law & Corporate Affairs, will be involved in the development, implementation, and management of electronic auditing, policing, and counter-intelligence in support of compliance, enforcement, advertising, and business development. This position will perform or use security audits, risk analyses, business analyses, application-level vulnerability testing, and security-code reviews. This position will help to ensure the electronic integrity, safety, and security of all Zango business practices, products, devices, and strategies.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Audit and investigate promotion/distribution practices by current, prospective, and former business partners to identify key distribution strategies, practices, and issues. Provide insight regarding methodologies to assist in making improvements; Audit and investigate partner and prospective partner compliance with Code of Conduct and relevant industry standards; Investigate online verticals that promote manipulated intellectual properties. Re-enact defined exploits, such as server exploits, botnets, XP security holes, and Windows Media security holes; Audit, investigate, circumvent, and strengthen electronic security measures to enhance end user and company safety; Collect data and evidence and document all findings; be able to present findings to a variety of audiences; Work on cross-functional teams to assist client integrity; Assist in ensuring company compliance with applicable and prospective local, state, and federal regulatory requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act); Communicate effectively with in-house legal, technical, sales, and executive personnel, as well as with on-line partners, affiliates, distributors, watchdogs, and others (including law enforcement personnel);Document all findings in a thorough and organized manner.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:College degree required. Working knowledge of, e.g., web and internet technologies, search engines, online advertising and promotion/distribution; Ability to analyze client processes and communications; Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to deliver creative, actionable solutions to wide variety of groups including, but not limited to, LCA, technical, marketing, business development, and executive teams; Strong understanding of Windows environment and applications; Understanding and experience with testing internet client server-type applications; Good at working both alone and in teams; Self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient; Diplomatic approach to negotiation, discussion, and resource management; Must possess exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills; Must bring energy, candor, flexibility, and intellectual rigor to bear on all tasks, relationships, and goals.
