Conference Sales Executive

Our organization has immediate openings for experienced sales representatives who will be responsible for sales of our business to business events and conferences, marketing and live event properties.  

We are a business to business multi-media publisher and event producer, seeking an experienced salesperson for tradeshow, online and custom media sales. Show portfolio will focus on the following industries: entertainment, technology and healthcare. You will have the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies, multinational organizations, and professionals from all over the world.

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate should have proven track record in business-to-business tradeshow/conference sales, ability to work with minimum supervision and have sales experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Must be able to work in friendly and professional, yet aggressive atmosphere. Maintain a high volume of daily outbound sales calls  Excellent follow up and closing skills a MUST. Must be energetic and self motivated with desire to grow a sales pipeline and customer base Proficient in general computer programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience helpful. Ability to travel to tradeshows, 4 times a year. Ability to maintain confidentiality with issues at all times

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills. Sense of urgency necessary to meet sales goals, objectives and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated problem solving/decision making skills. Able to work successfully in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining calm and level-headed demeanor. Proven track record in business-to-business sales.

 

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

 College degree preferred Two years of related experience Previous sales training a must Success in selling a premium product at a premium price Longevity in previous positions
