ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of an internal communications team in a collaborative environment; be exceptionally organized; possess excellent, proven written and oral communication skills
 Must understand different communications channels and appropriate uses of each, including meetings, Web sites, Portal content, video (including internal television), newsletters, and broadcast e-mails; write comprehensive, concise materials to support the Company’s employee communications objectives
 Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships within assigned business unit and across business units
 Must have the ability to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of key business unit drivers, strategic goals, and concerns in order to provide appropriate communications support; work and problem solve with diverse groups.

The candidate will be responsible for:
 Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business unit and field leaders
 Creating targeted, integrated employee communications for business units to help increase employee engagement
 Providing counsel to managers to help them improve their face-to-face communication skills
 Highlighting stories that might be appropriate for additional internal use (such as video stories) and external media to pick up
 Supporting various employee communications initiatives as part of the Internal Communications team.

QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS in Communications or related field.  Minimum 2 or more years of experience in Employee Communications or related field.  Proficient in use of word processing and graphic presentation applications (Microsoft Office Products).
