Pacific Clinics, a private non-profit behavioral health agency providing multi-cultural, family-focused and client-centered behavioral health services to our clients, families and communities since 1926, has an immediate opening for Corporate Director of Public Relations.

The Corporate Direct of Public Relations is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership, planning and direction of Pacific Clinics Public Affairs. Creates and maintains a favorable public image for employer or client. Will work collaboratively with the Pacific Clinics management, staff, direct clients of services and family members on a range of key communications projects. Must enjoy working cooperatively with a very diverse population as aligned with Pacific Clinics’ mission, vision and values.

 - Develop and implement agency communications (Public Relations) and marketing programs to improve Pacific Clinics’ visibility and relations with identified public, industry, donor, volunteer and employee constituents.
 - Develop and implement a marketing/communications 3-year plan. Review the plan annually for appropriate changes and planning contingencies. Prepare and recommend strategies and goals for marketing agency programs and services. 
 -  Promote increased agency visibility, marketing opportunities, newsletters and grant announcements. 
 -  Maintain close working contacts with all traditional media as well as new media, such as news websites, blogs, networking sites, etc.
 - Ensure the dissemination of information about Pacific Clinics to the general public, diverse audiences, business and media as well as within Pacific Clinics. 
 -  Will work cooperatively with the Corporate Director of Pacific Clinics Training Institute (PCTI) in directing promotions, marketing and other projects related to the Institute. 
 -  Write and supervise the design, printing, mail assembly and distribution of all publications including the annual report, quarterly newsletters and program brochures. 
 -  Assure that all materials developed through the Public Relations Department reflect Pacific Clinics’ Core Values. 
 -  Utilize electronic audio, visual (including public access television) and print technology for internal and external communications for Public Relations and Marketing. 
 -  Build an effective online presence by creating/upgrading/maintaining web site(s) as well as employing popular online resources (such as myspace, wikipedia and linkedin) for branding and agency networking purposes. 
 -  Publicize Pacific Clinics’ economic and social contributions to appropriate publics.  Develop programs to sustain and project Pacific Clinics’ image to internal and external publics.

 -  The ideal candidate will have a proven record in the Public Relations field as well as supervisory experience.
 -  Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
 - A background in philanthropy is preferred.
