Creative Director Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia-based marketing communications agency is seeking dynamic, experienced and driven candidates who are actively in search of broader and bigger creative challenges for the position of Creative Director.

The Creative Director will be responsible for:

o  Translating marketing objectives into creative strategies for multi-discipline client projects and managing them from concept to completion

o  Directing the creative team across a variety of print, interactive, multi-media and presentation tactics, including the development of effective messaging

o  Overseeing and continuously improving the overall quality of work produced by the creative department

The Creative Director is a new position within our firm created to help build and then facilitate and enhance our continued exponential growth. This role will be one of leadership within the company, with clients and in the marketplace and will report directly to the firm’s President.

– The ability to provide strategic insight and develop/direct original designs for a variety of deliverables required to address critical customer needs

– Strong copywriting and copyediting skills as well as the ability to extract from the source and incorporate key messages into a design

– The capacity to communicate to the exact level of the various constituent groups

– the ability to extract and distribute pertinent information, both within the organization and externally

– The capability to perpetuate forward momentum of entire group to maintain on-time, on-budget deliverables

– The knowledge that “the hard is what makes it so good”

 

Candidate experience and capabilities should include, but not be limited to…

– 5-10 years of providing creative-strategic solutions as part of an organization’s in-house creative group or agency. A proven track record of growth, increased responsibility and making a difference

– At least 5 years of directing the daily tasks and career growth of 3 or more direct reports

– Proficiency in estimating the requirements and then managing the tasks required to execute large scale projects within budget and on time

– Strong leadership abilities and management skills

– Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver solutions across multiple mediums

– Consistent delivery of impeccable executions

– Superior knowledge and abilities in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign

– A strong familiarity with the inherent possibilities, if not the superior operation of, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver & Adobe After Effects

– Fluency in a Windows environment and Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint

– Knowledge of 3-D and video development software is considered a plus
