Cultural Influencer Manager - New Orleans Nightlife

We need a manager who will assist in the implementation and day to day managing of a unique cultural lifestyle program.  This is a program that will blend traditional marketing with a lifestyle program.  What does that mean for you?  It means working out strategies to better reach our audience.  It means event conception, planning and execution.  It means creating and maintaining relationships and networking in the artistic community.  One more thing, this is a lifestyle position, meaning that you need to be immersed in the arts.  This job should be a part of your life as you work through your day.  You do not have to be an established artist, designer or performer, but you should have strong ties in the community. 

 

Core Responsibilities of this position:Develop and maintain a positive on-going relationship with a core group of piers.  Manage 3 Full time/Part time staff members. Event conceptualization and implementation.Handle the day to day workings including all reporting.

What you have done:1-3 years proven Management experience Previous event marketing experience (preferred) Familiar with the New Orleans Arts Scene

What you need:Leadership / management skillsComputer skills - Microsoft Excel, Office, etc (for reporting) Negotiation skillsRecruiting/Training skillsEffective management and organizational skills / ability to multi taskStrong networking skills.College degree

 Creative thinking is a MUST for this position – professionalism and commitment to excellence required. 

This is a FULL TIME position (day and evenings) with benefits to include health insurance, 401K eligibility, paid holidays.  Competitive salary offered- based on experience.
