Description:Responsibilities1. Answer telephone and respond to customer requests Answer and screen all incoming telephone calls in a professional, helpful and courteous manner Provide product, service and billing information to customers Project a professional company image through telephone communications Utilizes telephone scripts and follows Alliance Data policies and procedures2. Process payments for customers through Trust Commerce for customers3. Resolve service or billing complaints Identify and research customer issues using available resources Solves issues to avoid a report Follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved Transfer escalated calls to designated staff May compose written correspondence to resolve inquiries4. Uses company systems to accurately handle customer requests. Retrieves customer specific information from various systems owned by Alliance Data and vendors Processes correspondence and updates customer accounts Completes call logs and reports to identifies trends Follow established guidelines for privacy, security, productivity, quality, and retention5. Complete all other duties and tasks as directed by the department supervisor / managerAbout the OpportunityThe Customer Service Representative acts as the first point of contact for our customers by answering incoming telephone calls, responding to general customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues and delivering outstanding customer service.Qualifications:Requirements:~High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a busy call center and provide accurate information to customers about their monthly billing statement or account history in a timely and professional manner.
