Position Overview

 

Position will report to the President and oversee the Film Department of up to 5 people. The Film department performs Traditional Product Placement, Product Integrations, Promotions and evaluates Branded Content opportunities

 

Candidate is required to have experience working in Film marketing and promotions, and working with Corporate Brands. 

 

This person should enjoy a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, have expert communication skills and be team-oriented.  Ideal candidate personality must allow them to be self-managed, to develop and oversee high-profile opportunities on behalf of clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Overall Day to day management of Film Department staff

- Develop film strategies for clients

- Identify, negotiate and execute promotion opportunities for corporate clients

- Identify film based branded content opportunities

- Identify film festival opportunities to participate in - Reach out to key players in film community-producers, production companies, talent agents, studios

- Prepare presentations for existing clients on film opportunities

- Identify and report on film market trends

- Attending and reporting on Licensing Show and Toy Fair

- Meet with internal Account Managers and present opportunities

- Ability to present opportunities, initiatives and ideas when needed

- Strategic thinker with ability to bridge together larger ideas for client activation

- Work with Insights & Analytics group to evaluate metrics

- Stay current with client news and interests

- Participation in client meetings as needed

- Participation in company brainstorm meetings

- Participation in all company meetings

- Participation in New Business Development proposals as needed

- Interacting proactively with members of all other departments and account teams

- Providing reports/assistance needed to management including various ad hoc reports and oversight of special projects as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

- Los Angeles, California  Based

- Moderate travel to existing and prospective clients

- Minimum 5 Years Work Experience after college for a company

- Minimum 3 Years of Experience working in Film

- Experience working with CPG companies a plus

- Experience dealing with Senior Management

- A strong knowledge of Internet, computer  and Microsoft Office products.

- Experience in a diverse teamwork environment

- U.S. Resident and ability to travel

- Degree from a University
