DIRECTOR of INTERACTIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

DIRECTOR OF INTERACTIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT Needed RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

 

· Responsible for all project plans, managed by PMs.

· Responsible for training Project Managers

· Responsible for managing delivery by any 3rd parties, including partnership on Digital campaigns with IMED’s or other vendor’s IPM, working closely and achieving all Client deliverables

· Responsible for project reporting as approved by Finance. Complete all necessary documentation of client requirements changes or agreements.

· Identify and bring in all departments and specialist as needed in planning and as appropriate during projects. Provide advance alerts on projects.

· Keeps ahead of industry trends/apply the latest techniques in new media and technology.

· Coordinate with account statements of work (SOWs), top-down and bottoms-up budgets, project schedules, and risk and change management plans.

· With HR, prepare thorough training program for all PM’s on digital applications/terminology. Train current staff in regards to the digital landscape.

· Lead in the implementation and production life cycle of projects. Accountable for leading interrelated projects of strategic programs delivering the total solutions (both digital and print), while meeting Client expectations.

· Facilitate the clarification of team member roles and development of procedures and process for all PM’s.

· Coach and develop staff, provide ongoing immediate positive or corrective feedback on performance values and behavior. Provide coaching to meet the overall needs of Brand Project Managers.

· Build a structure of PM’s by brand. Align staff with brands and skill set

· Guide staff in the development and delivery of training and information sessions with agency staff/clients.

· Collaborate with department heads in reviewing/implementing Agency Process.  Ensure adherence to Process

· Organize team meetings when challenges arise. Direct all meetings to be solution oriented

· Work closely with manager on implementation of, and ongoing compliance with, Brand Approval/Brand DNA

· Review department workloads with department managers and adjust accordingly.  Advise supervisor of issues that impact Agency projects

· Maintain pulse on the “big picture” volume of work within all disciplines

· Active involvement in conflict resolution.  Help manage problems before they escalate

· Represent department at Client meetings

· Work with HR and department managers to hire qualified, talented staff

· Manage staffing matrices and staff issues.  Responsible for overseeing performance/recommending promotions and salary increases.

· Maintain a high level of morale and encourage and foster a sense of pride in workmanship among employees

· Ensure Agency’s principles and values are understood and adhered to

· Work closely with IT and SVP of Creative Services to ensure staff has updated software and overall tech needs are met

· Enter time daily in PRISM. Approve time for direct reports

· Work closely with SVP Creative Service on all new initiatives and overall operations

· Ensure timely completion of individual assigned jobs

· Stay late as necessary

· Other related duties as required

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifying for this position normally requires:

 

· BS/BA Degree

· PMP certification preferred

· Microsoft Software and reporting skills (MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

· Minimum 8-10 years of Agency experience and supervisory experience, including global projects/offshore teams

· Comprehensive understanding of both traditional and Interactive Marketing

· Crisis management experience
