The Data Classification Associate in Fashion & Sports is responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness and integrity of all NPD products, identifying, investigating and resolving data issues for assigned categories.  He/She will maintain the Outlet POS exceptions and Consumer write-ins, report common metrics and interface with CDS (Client Delivery Services) in the areas of data support and issue resolution.

 

Overall Responsibilities:

 Performing quality checks for new product data adds and existing product matching decisions made through manual and systems processing.Ensuring the quality and timeliness of raw files, according to production schedules.   Improving data quality/attribute coding for assigned categories. Developing proficiency in NPD’s proprietary software (PowerView, FlexSys, Nexus), System Manger, Remedy, etc.   Identifying Retailer or processing problems in the data.  Managing multiple categories and assignments.Other assigned tasks.

 

Qualifications:

 1 + years experience processing data. Retailer knowledge, category/industry knowledge and consumer/category knowledge a plus. BA/BS or equivalent. Knowledge of data collection and data analysis and interpretation methodologies.Ability to think conceptually and analytically. Strong attention to detail.Strong communication, problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines. Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
