TechTarget is seeking a Database Marketing Analyst to join its Data Analytics team to provide analysis, reporting, and operational support for TechTarget’s products and properties. The core responsibilities for this role are to assist in the execution of targeted marketing and operational campaigns and generate actionable ad-hoc reports from an Oracle Data Warehouse.  The Database Marketing Analyst will work with business owners to answer questions about their data and provide them with the insight and understanding to interpret the data on their own.  Ultimately, the Database Marketing Analyst will identify, propose and implement efficiencies to improve group and business initiatives.

 



Job Functions:Use SQL in an Oracle environment to create targeted call and email listsProduce ongoing standard reporting for business customers, and assist in reporting automationDesign and run queries for custom analysis and data requestsTroubleshoot inquiries and problematic Helpdesk tickets Provide quality assurance of data brought into the warehouseInterpret data around key business metrics and work with the data analytics team to monitor, project, and improve performance  Conduct other data related tasks and special project work as needed



Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics or related experience1-3 years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on data analysisProficiency in Excel and writing SQLInterest in Database Marketing and Data MiningKnowledge of relational database concepts and skillsStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsAbility to apply statistical measures and concepts a plusEffective communicator with excellent written and verbal skillsAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
