Description:About the OpportunityEpsilon has an exciting career opportunity for a Database Administrator with a balance of skills in Database Administration with some database SQL programming. This opportunity will enable the Database Administrator to work directly with business users in a team oriented environment to design, implement, maintain, and automate procedures for client database environments.ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, enhance, and maintain decision support database solutions using various database technologies. Implement, manage and support production infrastructures. Evaluate new technologies and products. Perform database management tasks including database infrastructure design, automation of data loads, performance tuning, SQL programming, space management, backup/recovery, and version control. Support users, tune and troubleshoot data access applications and ad hoc queries. Work closely with the database technology vendors on implementing new leading edge technologies. Create technical designs, implement procedures and coach business users to obtain operational efficiency.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience. Eagerness to learn new leading edge technologies.
