Digital Asset Production Coordinator Position:
SUCCESS Media seeks a digital asset coordinator for its SUCCESS Media division. This is a great opportunity to join the leading publisher and distributor of personal development and motivational media (books, audio, video). The right candidate must be positive, energetic, self-motivated and able to manage timelines, and work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Position will report to the product development manager.
Primary Role/Function:
The digital asset coordinator is primarily responsible for two areas: the production of audio and video products as well as the cataloging, organizing, and archiving thousands of articles, videos, and audios used for advertising, promotions, and product development. Functions include:
Work with asset coordinators from other divisions of company to develop and implement an archival library system for images, audio, and video Work with the IT department to maintain and ensure the backup of digital library Categorize and oversee inventory control for the various digital content librariesCreate and track master copies of all audios and videosCreate topic summaries for audio and video content Coordinate the transcription of audio and video content Coordinate the digitization of magazine pages from archives Assist with researching and purchasing additional digital assets from various media sources
· Review assets and recommend usability for new products
· Coordinate monthly audio and video production for monthly magazine offering, including: booking crew, studio time, talent; post-A/V production coordination of editorial schedules; maintaining transcription, translation, closed captioning, subtitling processes; maintaining timelines for packaging design process, multimedia development, and delivery of masters; and facilitating internal requests for review copies and approval copies Collaborate with in-house sales, marketing, and creative staffsManage timelines and report status for related projects
Qualifications:Extensive background in digital photo, audio, and video archiving.Experience as a digital librarian, image asset manager, document control coordinator, or related field Skilled in research, planning, organizing, and problem solvingExperience working in a fast-paced, high-energy, deadline-driven environmentExcellent written and visual comprehension skillsA passion for personal developmentAbility to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary teamImpeccable time management skillsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and manage complex workload under pressureComputer proficient (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Background in marketing helpful
