AMP is seeking a professional in the field of digital media and pr to join our team as a Digital Strategist within our Digital PR group in Boston. Candidates should be passionate and knowledgeable about the digital space and have exceptional research, analysis and strategic thinking skills as well as a strong understanding of digital PR and new trends in engaging consumers and influencers online.

Responsibilities:

PR:Monitor and analyze online media and other relevant digital communications channels; Employ a variety of research techniques to understand and analyze online data and provide insight about relevant online conversations and voices in those conversations;Work closely with clients and account teams on the development and execution of digital PR campaigns;Prepare reports summarizing the results of digital PR campaigns;Conduct online media outreach;Educate internal peers and external clients on digital PR, relevant trends and successes to drive awareness.



Account Management:Actively participate and perform as part of an account team to service our clients; Interact with and influence staff and management level contacts both internally and externally;  Develop knowledge of the client from a business, industry and competitive perspective;Support all strategic endeavors from both a brainstorming and implementation perspective;Create and manage timelines for various programs;Identify potential organic growth opportunities through client interactions and relationship building efforts;Proactively collaborate with integrated agency teams to service clients as needed;Other duties, as assigned. 

Requirements:

BA/BS in Public Relations or a related field;3-5 years of relevant work experience in the digital communications space;2-3 years of digital media, the digital landscape and digital PR experience and success is required;Demonstrated passion about quickly-evolving digital media environment;Outstanding research and analytical skills;Superior organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail;Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team setting and independently;Demonstrated ability to independently meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously; Proven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills; Some travel required, anticipated to be between 10-20%.
