The Wall Street Journal Radio Network services news and information to more than 280 radio stations in the U.S.Job Description: The Digital Product Development Manager for WSJ.com is responsible for the evolution of content development, user experience and functionality on the site, to drive traffic and revenue growth. He/she will act as gatekeeper of overall prioritization of product development, working very closely with ad sales, circulation marketing, editorial, design and technology. Position is based in World Financial Center and reports to the GM of WSJ.com.Responsibilities include:- Setting the product roadmap for WSJ.com, working closely with the GM and managing editor. This involves: • acting as a liaison among all parts of WSJ.com and constantly communicating status. • setting and monitoring success metrics for each product enhancement and measuring ROI. • ensuring product evolution drives financial results measured through both advertising and circulation revenue. • driving customer research and mining customer feedback to ensure the site is meeting customer needs.- Specific roadmap responsibilities include driving evolution of home page/article pages, related content/content recommendations, search, personalization, RSS, community, alerting, email, blogs, widgets, mobile, video and podcasts.- Acting as a liaison with technology to provide business prioritization for development and resource allocation.- Identifying and partnering with third-party vendors that can provide new features and functionality for the sites.- Negotiating third-party deals for content, data and tools for the sites and acting as the primary business contact for these deals; managing Royalties budget. Position Requirements - Minimum five years' online product development experience including experience working with content sites, news strongly preferred; - Extensive past experience defining online product strategy and requirements; - Strong interpersonal, analytic and communication skills a must; - Proven ability to work with Technology, Editorial, Ad Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service groups; - Extensive usage and understanding of financial content (News, Data, and Tools); - Proven success leading cross-functional teams and product launches; - Highly strategic as well as detail oriented;For immediate consideration please apply directly to: http://careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/client_dowjones/external/gateway.do?functionName=viewFromLink&jobPostId=9761&localeCode=en-us
