Description:ResponsibilitiesGeneral Statement of Duties:The Director of Channel Marketing is responsible for developing the overall strategy (product and marketing-focused) for specific marketing channels (Acquisition, New Media, and Loyalty) based on voice of client, customer, market, and technology trends. The Director owns the product roadmaps for all of the products in these channels and sets the development direction in conjunction with other internal stakeholders. Supervision Received: Reports to Sr. Director, Channel Marketing & InnovationSupervision Exercised: 6 direct reportsExamples of Duties:Guide the development of the business case, marketing plan, and communication /launch strategy for new products and features.Actively monitor, analyze and manage the results of the channel's various products and programs to determine profitability and best practice in application.Lead the development of product sheets, case studies and training for new products, features, and marketing techniques.Participate directly in the sales process as the Channel SME with clients/prospects as required.Act as a sponsor for client implementations of owned new products. Provides leadership and direction to the implementation process.Acts as a consultant on the development of credit marketing programs for the Acquisition, New Media, and Loyalty marketing channels.Identifies new industry trends in technology and marketing related to a specific channel. Works with internal stakeholders to identify potential uses in the context of Strategic Account Management plans.Active participant in the Strategic Account Management planning process.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies designed to increase customer acquisition. Loyalty and retention through direct mail, rewards programs, and alternative media.ResponsibilitiesQualifications:Experience:10-12 years of experience in new product development, product management, product marketing or channel marketing, preferably in financial services.
