PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:Paramount Famous Productions, a Division of Paramount Pictures Corporation, is seeking a production attorney to provide legal support to Paramount's new made for home entertainment production division, reporting to Senior Vice President of Business Affairs.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Drafting and negotiating a broad range of development, production, post-production and related agreements in connection with Paramount's slate of made for home entertainment motion pictures.* Administration of credit memos, clearance matters, copyright reports and copyright registrations.* Analyzing and summarizing chain-of-title documents.* Acting as legal liaison with contracts administration, casting administration and various other production-related departments within the studio.* Providing general legal and production legal support to the division.Qualifications:Basic qualifications:* Minimum 2 years experience at a transactional entertainment law firm, motion picture studio or television studio with relevant production legal experience.* Solid drafting, negotiating, verbal communication and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a heavy and diverse workload.* JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and an active member of the California Bar Association.Desired skills:* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a range of personalities and to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization.* Familiarity with guild and union collective bargaining agreements a plus.Eligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, ALJob Number: 5205Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
