 StrictlyWeddings.com is a Premier Online Wedding Resource.  It offers today’s Bride with luxury services and resources for The Most Exquisite Day of Her Life.  The company corporate office is located in Dallas, Texas and will open an office in the New York market. 

The company is seeking a Director of Sales for the New York office.  This is a well rounded position that offers a blend of some of the more exciting aspects of sales, marketing and advertising. The Director of Sales will have an impeccable reputation for building relationships, delivering outstanding client service and hosting premier events. The Director will bring a proven background in Sales, Marketing, Media Sales, Advertising and Public Relations.  This individual must be a high-profile, polished professional that is active within a dynamic city.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to attend on-site customer appointments on a daily basis.  Client appointments are usually in multiple locations. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to qualify and close business. Knowledgeable of online advertising and interactive marketing. Experience in Sales, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations within the luxury advertising market. Exceptional experience with Event Planning and Promotional Events. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Ability to establish and maintains relationships with current and potential clients. Past history of managing a sales territory and the ability to create a strategic sales strategy for potential affluent advertisers. Identify and analyze competitive advertising sales opportunities and make recommendations. Understand the strategy of the business and develops and executes a plan to meet and exceed business goals. Sharp business sense, resourceful.  Able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity. An aggressive, high-profile individual with an energetic personality to move within the business and social environment of city.

Education and Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of progressive Sales, Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations experience Must be able to work irregular hours as dictated by client needs Some travel may be required

Working Conditions:

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting.  Job may work in a remote reporting relationship from either home-based or satellite office location.
