Director, Product Management

Responsibilities:

· Increase company revenue/ profitability by expanding existing web products and launching new strategies based on business initiatives.

· Work with senior staff and multiple departments (Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Operations) to analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors to define product requirements and priorities.

· Manage a team that creates comprehensive product documents: business cases, flowcharts, use cases, requirements documents, functional specifications, schedules, while overseeing a department budgets.

· Lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to execute product plans on time, scope, and budget.

· Must have the ability to communicate effectively with various areas of the company including engineering, design, finance, sales and marketing, understanding and interpreting stakeholder needs and priorities.

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

· 7+ years of product management experience within an eCommerce/ technology environment required

· 2+ years of experience managing a team (hiring, performance management, terminations, mentoring/ coaching).

· Extensive experience managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution and analysis.

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.

· Incredible attention to detail, highly organized, and flexible.

· Proven track record of launching highly successful online services/ products on time and within budget.

· Expert in Visio, Project and Excel.

· Understanding of advertising, online services, and broadcast media highly desired.
