Director/Sr. Manager, Marketing Intelligence

Leading direct/database marketing agency in the Dallas area seeks a Director/Sr. Manager in its Marketing Sciences group to manage client deliverables by working with team of Research Scientists and Analysts in the delivery of marketing campaign findings and analytic insights/recommendations.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Acts as interface for research/modeling deliverables.

·  Performs analyses, summarizes, and quality assurance of modeling solutions.

·  Presents requirements and modeling results / key findings to internal/external clients.

·  Collaborates with reporting/account service teams to identify client needs; develop project requirements with limited supervision.

·  Develops cost/timeline estimates for ad hoc projects.

·  Manages Research Scientists and Analysts.

·  Assists team with hands on ad hoc analyses as needed.

·  Provides yearly performance appraisal of staff.

 

Requirements: 

·  Master’s degree in a quantitative field or MBA.

·  5 – 10 years work experience in marketing analysis.

·  Experience managing data and data mining.

·  Experience managing and mentoring staff.

·  Strong statistics background.

·  Working knowledge of multivariate statistical techniques (Discriminant analysis, Logistic regression, CHAID, Cluster analysis, Factor analysis, etc.)

·  Applied experience and/or strong grasp of advertising/marketing business issues and industry dynamics

·  Experience with interactive data a plus

·  Significant demonstrated experience with software used for data analysis and manipulation.

·  Excellent knowledge of a wide range of desktop applications, including:

o MS Office Apps: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (required)

o SAS/SPSS (required)

o SQL (preferred)

·  Ability to prepare well-structured, clear and concise client-ready deliverables.

 

Salary: $90 -$100K
