Director of Public Relations and New Media Development

OVERVIEW

Staccatois looking for a high-energy professional to drive public relations and newmedia programs for established clients in the BtoB and BtoC technology sectors.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Musthave strong relationship management skills, proven ability to coordinate and implementacross multiple marketing disciplines, and the capacity to deliver superior resultsfor clients. Dynamic and enthusiastic team leader that can build, motivate andgrow a public relations/new media team. A visionary with insight into thelatest digital media trends and techniques and the ability to knowledge-sharewith account teams. Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and an affinity forthe non-traditional.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

•Requires 7-10 years in international multi-channel marketing, public relationsand digital media, preferably in both agency and corporate environments.

•Experience leading public relations project teams in gaining superior publicityand results.

•Technology and Internet knowledge is essential; viral and online marketingbackground a plus.

•Exceptional writing and editorial skills as well as a proficiency in strategicanalysis, planning and communications campaign management.

•Ability to develop and nurture relationships with a deep pool of mediacontacts, editors, writers and analysts across technology sectors

•Comfort and competency advising and working closely with C-level executives.

•Bachelors degree in journalism, communications or marketing. Post-graduate education a plus.
