District Manager OEM

National In-Store, the industry leader in Retail Marketing Services, is seeking a District Manager. Responsibilities include achieving aggressive sales and activation objectives for XM Satellite Radio at automotive dealership locations.




Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Proven track record for diligence in a remote position
- Familiarity with the geography of the market to be covered
- Sales or marketing experience; preferably automotive industry related, with proven track record of success
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Team player
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Projects self-confident, professional image
- Positive attitude with ability to lead and motivate others
Pay range: dependent upon experience (35K-40K) Independent Contract 1099. Car allowance $350 per month, cell phone allowance $75 per month, dealership expense account reimbursement $250 per month. Regular gasoline and general office expenses reimbursed.


Job Description:
1. Act as a liaison between the products and services offered by XM and assigned list of automotive dealerships.
2. Develop, lead and coordinate OEM special projects within assigned territory.
3. Provide ongoing Customer Support and serve as the XM Expert.
4. Represent XM at OEM-related automotive vendor shows and events.
5. Proven track record in meeting/surpassing targeted sales goals.
6. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
7. Log daily dealership activity and key contacts, for scheduling and tracking purposes, using ARTS proprietary software.
8. Strong communication skills, ability to motivate and direct others to meet targeted goals.
9. Experience in the areas of product presence, training, sales incentives and category management.
10. Ability and willingness to travel within assigned district 4-5 days a week.
11. Follow-up/auditing to insure proper dealership coverage throughout region.
