Document Production Assistant- Part Time

Document Production Assistant Job Description: SAIC's Environmental Planning, Engineering, and Management Division, located in Carpinteria, CA, is looking for a part time document production assistant to join our growing Southern California staff. The successful candidate will work directly with the Publications department to produce multiple reports and proposals. Duties include word processing support; technical editing/proofreading; printing, collating, and binding; and shipping. Six years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong command of English grammar and technical editing skills. Must be able to prioritize and carry out duties with minimal supervision and handle proprietary information in a confidential manner. Must have a high attention to detail, be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, personable and outgoing with strong organizational skills, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills: Experience using Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Web page experience a plus.
