E Commerce Manager

We are centrally located in Middletown, CT and have been in business for more than 20 years.  We have annual sales in excess of $85 million dollars.  We are an authorized distributor of xerographic supplies and equipment and represent more than 20 manufacturer lines of products.  We are experiencing growth and we are now in need of an E- Commerce Manager.

Responsibilties:  This position will be the lead person to maintain our electronic catalogs including product integrity, marketing information, and dealing with our third party software providers.  Responsible for monitoring and developing e-commerce strategies.  Must be able to analyze and manipulate associated data in raw form as well as through application front ends.  Must have social skills, marketing and sales ambition to communicate effectively with vendors, customers in order to negotiate prices and make sound financial decisions.

Requirements:  Should be familiar with HTML, Internet retail marketing, Excel, Access, Front Page, Dream weaver, Visual Studio, VB.Net, MS SQL Server 2005, IBM Web sphere, Apache and Java.
