Position Summary:

TV HOST is in need of an experienced Video Editor. Our Editor must live in or near Tampa Bay area and be able to create show segments and commercials from concept to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door of one of the most dynamic companies in the Tampa Bay area. 

Conceptualize and create 30-minute Builders Showcase programs, 30-second commercials, capture & edit video, develop commercial spots, edit Audio files, create effects & graphics, design & code DVD menus, communicate effectively to clients & inter office staff.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Attention to detail & ability to be flexible & handle working on multiple projects.

Customer service oriented, while meeting production goals established by the department.

Deal directly with builders and subcontractors to produce top-of-the-line marketing materials.

Detail oriented and have the desire to take control of individual projects.

Ability to juggle multiple projects is mandatory and needs excellent customer service skills.

Individual needs to be creative in problem solving/production workarounds and be able to meet tight deadlines.

 

Essential Job Requirements: 

 

EDUCATION

Associate Degree – Minimum

Bachelors Degree - preferred

 

EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have experience with PC-based video editing (Adobe Premiere & After Effects), the ability to manipulate graphics (Adobe Photoshop), audio editing (Adobe Audition) and DVD authoring (Adobe Encore).

2+ years of Editing for a production company is preferred, Network Production Experience a plus.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 Must be proficient with PC Based editing & the following software:

Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, Encore, Audition & After Effects.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite is necessary as well.
