We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to work towards executing a robust plan to drive global thought leadership around Microsoft Corporation’s broad Trustworthy Computing efforts. A successful candidate will have experience in communications for an environmental sustainability campaign. Experience working on campaigns at a large company or environmental organization is desired. Candidates should have an understanding of environmental publications and media landscape. Experience working on other corporate social responsibility campaigns would also be useful. This team works in both traditional and non-traditional influential models in PR, AR and Public Affairs to strengthen perceptions of innovation and customer trust in computing across multiple audiences, including, technical, business, consumer and environmental. Applicant needs to be a self starter; a strong proactive storyteller; have solid crisis communications experience and be a motivating team player and leader. Responsibilities will include client and team day-to-day management. Waggener Edstrom’s Trustworthy Computing team is a highly visible team on the Microsoft account with a trusted client partnership.
