Events Assistant- Boston

Love working with people? Do you have fabulous communication skills and an energetic nature? Then, this is the opportunity that you have been looking for! A well known college in the Boston area is in need of an Events Assistant who will support the coordination of a variety of school sponsored events!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working at events, able to work independently and also function strongly in a team, able to prioritize and have strong organizational skills, setting up invite lists, and managing schedules and client / vendor listings.


Qualifications include:
Extraordinary communication skills and strong attention to detail a must
Bachelor's Degree
1 to 2 years of office experience
Stellar phone presence
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

This is a professional entry level position for someone who is interested in Event Management. Events Assistant needs to be flexible working nights and weekends as this person will be attending events. Business attire is required. This is a great contract-to-perm opportunity to gain experience planning events and professional exposure.
