Executive Director

Executive Director for TiE-DC, the local chapter of a global organization focused on fostering entrepreneurship and mentorship.

 

Meet and work with successful CEO's and entrepreneurs in the DC metropolitan area in a high-profile position. This position will have primary responsibility for all organization management including operations, marketing, budget management, programs and membership & sponsorship development and event management. The position reports to the President and Board of Directors.

 

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

 

1. All activities related to administration and support of the organization

2. Program development and management, including new programs

3. Membership development and management

4. Event planning, management and implementation including Board meetings

5. Budget management and finances

6. Sponsorship development and management

7. Public relations

8. Website management

 

Please note that the Board of Directors and President will work closely with you on achieving the above.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

* Be available to start work shortly.

* Bachelor's or higher degree

* 2 or more years of experience running a nonprofit organization or a business, including marketing, events, and fundraising, highly desirable

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Organized work style

* Self-starter and able to work with CEOs and C-level Executives

* Energetic and positive personality a necessity. Passion for entrepreneurship a must!

* Available for evening meetings and/or events. Reliable car a necessity.

* Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office)

 

Compensation: $55K-$65K depending on experience; health, vision, and dental benefits.
