Financial Applications Coordinator

Duties include, but not limited to:

 

·  Coding and Security for Donovan Data System:

o Set up and maintain client and product codes in the DDS mainframe

o Set up and maintain the employee records in the DDS Cost system and Security system

o Update spreadsheets used by the HR department

o Maintain Client and Product codes in the Manual Billing System on a weekly basis

o Process data downloads and uploads for the various financial systems used by the Agency

o File the backup approval paperwork for all client/product coding

·  Financial Information Reporting

o Run customized reports for various Agency departments across the country

·  Tempo Help Desk Support

o Give support to employees, via phone, who encounter problems using the electronic timesheet program

o Download timesheet information from the DDS mainframe and process for HR

·  Assist During Training Sessions:

o Assist in training sessions on new DDS applications for the New York office, including general sessions and one-on-one follow up sessions

Specific Skills and/or Previous Experience Required:

·  Basic understanding of Accounting/Finance procedures

·  Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

·  Basic understanding of database coding and structure – no programming knowledge necessary

·  Experience with Donovan Data System a strong plus but not necessary

·  Strong phone skills

·  Great multi-tasking and follow-up skills
