OVERVIEW:

Located in Hollywood, this boutique design firm, specializing in the entertainment and online industry has an immediate need for (2) Flash Designers. The Flash Designer(s) will be responsible for building out Flash-based websites and applications and will have the ability to take a website from a static design all the way through to deployment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Must be comfortable in working within Flash to design and animate web components Work on multiple projects and guarantee on-time delivery to ensure campaign objectives are met.Proactively participate in the development and implementation of design process improvements and campaign enhancementsKnowledgeable about emerging technologies, advertising and graphic applications

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:Minimum of 2 years working within the entertainment industry on entertainment-based websitesBachelor’s Degree in Design or related field preferred but not requiredStrong experience in Macromedia FlashComfortable writing, using and troubleshooting ActionScript 2.0. Experience with ActionScript a definite plus but not a huge requirementIdeal candidate will possess creative vision and expertise to take a website from static design all the way through to deployment Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorAbility to work with JavaScript and HTMLCreative and comfortable learning and using new technologies. Must possess strong client interaction skillsSolid understanding of the online advertising, rich media and entertainment industriesStrong attention to detail and high level organization skills
