Job Description Franchise Automotive Advertising Consultant Job Description AutoTrader Publishing seeks a successful individual for our Automotive Sales Department in the Charlotte Metro area. Must be a top performer with proven track-record of selling in a business-to-business environment. Only truly self-motivated "hunters" need apply for this opportunity. Responsibilities Responsible for prospecting and closing the sale as well as developing relationships with all levels of management within a complex franchise automotive organization. Responsibilities will also include selling bundled advertising programs, direct mail, and dealer internet inventory management. No weekends or overnight travel required! Expected 1st year compensation $75,000+. Qualifications - Strong record of prior outside sales success (3+ years)- Ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with automotive dealers- Ability to give a consultative sales assessment of their advertising needs- Ability to offer creative solutions to help them reach their business and sales objectives- Superb communication (written, oral, and listening) and organizational skills- A basic yet thorough understanding of computers and the Internet- Prior media and/or advertising sales experience is a plus- Prior experience selling to automotive dealers is also a plus- MUST BE ACCUSTOMED TO BEING HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR HITTING YOUR SALES TARGETS!
